About Gio's Chiropractic
Our Mission
We strive to provide the best possible service and experience to our patients by offering high quality care and exceptional support. Far to many people forego the care they need because of time, whether you got stuck in traffic or could take the time off of work, our hours of operation allow you to get the treatment you require without sacrificing your time at the office or shop.
Dr. Gio's style of treatment, which differs from patient to patient means there's faster healing time and addressing the problem at the source root rather than simply treating and chasing the symptoms.
Dr. Gio
Dr. Edgar Giovanni Penado D.C. (Dr. Gio) was born and raised in Westbury, New York is bilingual in Spanish and English. After some overseas work he moved to Houston, Texas in 2008. While in Houston Dr. Gio along with his younger brother Dr. Blad enrolled and completed the Doctorate of Chiropractic program at “TCC” Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Gio is currently certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in chiropractic and acupuncture.
Dr. Gio is a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps. having served through Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He had careers in restaurant, mechanical, construction and oil and gas industries before becoming interested in chiropractic medicine after experiencing treatment which minimized his problems to almost nothing. This brought him to educate himself in the field of chiropractic and wellness.
As a chiropractor, Dr. Penado feels honored every day to be able to help others function better while increasing their health potential. He enjoys caring for whole family wellness and uses a variety of techniques to best suit the individual patient. Having had walked in many shoes previously, he states he can relate to the patients and their problems.
Outside the office, Dr. Gio has been married to his wife Liz for 16 years. They feel blessed to have three wonderful and healthy children, Giana, Miguel, and Luis. Dr. Penado enjoys traveling, cooking, remodeling their home, and exercising.

At Gios Chiropractic we offer spinal manipulations and a wide variety of modalities to complement a vast array of ailments that are hindering you from being at the top of your performance. When you visit us here at Gio's Chiropractic we’ll go over your concerns, pain points, functional or general wellness goals. Dr. Gio will conduct an assessment to verify the root of your physical symptoms to come up with a treatment plan so that we can bring you back to what you love doing most.
